Once Upon a Disagreement!
Students are exploring the concept of perspective - specifically opposing perspectives! Students paired up with someone they felt was opposite them in personalty to collaborate on a story within a story based on the entertaining book Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude. There is not just an entertaining fairy tale, but also the story of opposing perspectives as seen in the (very)dramatic readings - don't worry though - they agree in the end! Check out your child's writing and drama skills below.
There is more here than you would expect! A virtual layer called "augmented reality" is hiding in plain sight. To view the videos you need the free app called Aurasma. (for Android and Apple users) Here are the easy steps.
1. Download the app
2. Click the A symbol at the bottom
3. Click the magnifying glass (search)
4. Search for Ingram GT and follow
5. On the bottom, click the square (scan) icon
6. Scan the pictures and enjoy the videos

Greek Mythology Movie Trailers
Third graders put their reading comprehension and creativity to the test during our Greek Mythology unit. Students used iPads to create movie trailers for a myth of their choice in iMovie. They wrote, worked on costumes, directed and edited their own trailers. Enjoy!

The Search for the Golden Future
Fifth graders are excited to announce the release of their movie The Search for the Golden Future. What better way to show what they know about a researched country than in a movie that they wrote, produced, acted in and filmed?
