Once Upon a Disagreement!

Students are exploring the concept of perspective - specifically opposing perspectives! Students paired up with someone they felt was opposite them in personalty to collaborate on a story within a story based on the entertaining book Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude. There is not just an entertaining fairy tale, but also the story of opposing perspectives as seen in the (very)dramatic readings - don't worry though - they agree in the end! Check out your child's writing and drama skills below. There is more here than you would expect! A virtual layer called "augmented reality" is hiding in plain sight. To view the videos you need the free app called Aurasma. (for Android and Apple users) Here are the easy steps. 1. Download the app 2. Click the A symbol at the bottom 3. Click the magnifying glass (search) 4. Search for Ingram GT and follow 5. On the bottom, click the square (scan) icon 6. Scan the pictures and enjoy the videos

Wow, today someone stole the Oreos we were going to use in class today. Luckily, the crime scene was filled with evidence. Students observed and recorded clues from the scene, developed interview questions, interrogated a suspect, and collected comparison evidence from them. Several forensic labs were done to identify our cookie nabber!! We made a final accusation based on science and got our cookies back just in time to enjoy them. Nice work detectives!
